We kicked off our first ever Women’s Champions League campaign in perfect fashion with a win over Valerenga. Maya Le Tissier coolly converted from the penalty spot in the first half to score our first ever goal in the competition, excluding qualifiers, sealing the win after a strong and confident display from Skinner’s side.

United 1 - 1 Chelsea

Marc Skinner's side have now drawn with Arsenal and Chelsea this season. This feels like a sign of progress. They had taken just one point from their previous 11 league meetings with Chelsea, but fully earned a second thanks to Anna Sandberg’s outstanding volley which cancelled out Wieke Kaptein’s early strike.

Liverpool 0 - 2 Manchester United 

United maintained their impressive start to the WSL campaign with a commanding win over struggling Liverpool.

Manchester United maintained their place at the top of the Women’s Super League with a commanding victory over London City Lionesses.

SK Brann 1 - 0 Manchester United 

Manchester United face an uphill task to reach the Women’s Champions League group stage after a 1-0 defeat to SK Brann in Bergen, where Marc Skinner’s side dominated in front of a record 16,019 crowd but were thwarted by goalkeeper Selma Panengstuen before Ingrid Stenevik’s late header sealed the win.

Manchester United 1 - 0 Hammarby

United remain on course to qualify for the Champions League after defeating Hammarby in the final of the second qualifying round.  Elisabeth Terland, United's hat-trick hero in the 4-0 win against PSV Eindhoven in the semi-final on Wednesday - again proved pivotal. Terland scored the only goal of the game just past the hour mark.
