Everton 1 - 4 United
Everton Women were making their first appearance at the brand-new Hill Dickinson Stadium but United quickly put a stop to any celebrations.

Marc Skinner made two changes from the side that beat Valerenga in the Champions League on Wednesday. Lisa Naalsund came in for Julia Zigiotti Olme, earning her first domestic start of the season and marking her 50th appearance for the club, while Fridolina Rolfo replaced Jess Park.
Everton had stunned the crowd when Honoka Hayashi put them ahead after 16 minutes. But United hit back. Melvine Malard scored her fifth goal of the season around the hour mark, and a Hikaru Kitagawa own goal quickly followed to turn the game on its head.

Jess Park came off the bench and added a late brace against the club where she spent a loan spell early in her career. This was to be the last of goals.
Maz Pacheco forced a save from Tullis-Joyce in stoppage time, but the contest had largely been one-way traffic in United’s favour as they deservedly claimed the victory that lifted them, at least temporarily, into second place in the table.

Fan reaction and analysis
Olivia T said: "Great performance in the secondary. This is starting to have the makings of a fantastic season.
Sophie T spoke about the experience as an away fan at Everton's new stadium. She said: "I found the experience a little bit soulless. I hope United never leave Old Trafford if that's what the expected will feel like."
