United Preview | Everton at home
United v Everton preview
We face Everton on Monday night as the Premier League returns following another international break
We headed into that international break after a 2-2 draw at Tottenham, with Matthijs de Ligt coming to the rescue with a last-minute header. Richarlison had looked to have snatched a stoppage-time winner for Spurs just moments before.
That late goal kept our five-game unbeaten run alive, and we will be aiming to stretch it to six when the Toffees come to Old Trafford.
Team news for United
Benjamin Sesko, Harry Maguire and Casemiro all left the pitch with injuries in our last game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Casemiro has since featured for Brazil, playing the full 90 minutes against Senegal at the Emirates and scoring with a superb curled finish, before making a one-hour appearance against Tunisia in Lille. That suggests he should be fit for Monday's game.

We are expected to be without Sesko, who missed international duty with Slovenia. Maguire was not selected for Thomas Tuchel's England squad and looks like he'll also miss the game.
Kobbie Mainoo missed our last matchday squad but in his pre-match press conference, Ruben Amorim said he will return to training before Monday night.
Lisandro Martinez continues his recovery from a serious knee injury. The United boss has said he is in a good position on his return to fitness and spoke about how much of a boost that will be to the squad.
Last season
Things were looking very different when the two sides met last season. We enjoyed a thumping 4-0 win to secure what was Ruben Amorim's first win in the Premier League.
Marcus Rashford opened the scoring in the first half with a deflected strike, before Joshua Zirkzee doubled the lead before the break. Both players added to their tallies in a commanding second-half display, with Rashford scoring straight after the restart and Zirkzee finishing a quick counter-attack.

Moyes' side will arrive from Merseyside in mixed form, following a loss to Spurs, a draw with Sunderland and a win over Fulham in their last three games.
Their struggles away from home are a particular worry, with just one win on the road in all competitions. That victory came against bottom-of-the-table Wolverhampton Wanderers in the league, who then got their revenge a few weeks later at the same ground in the Carabao Cup.
