Goalkeeper and defence
Senne Lammens – 6.5
Had a slightly nervy moment when he pushed the ball straight into a Chelsea shirt, though we got away with it as the follow-up was ruled offside. Rode his luck at times with Chelsea hitting the woodwork three times, but a clean sheet is what matters.
Diogo Dalot – 6.5
Comfortable enough defensively and never really tested out wide. Linked play neatly at times. Remains someone you can rely on more often than not.
Dalot on Instagram yesterday. A solid performance from him.

Noussair Mazraoui – 5.5
Looked a bit unsure in the first half, which is understandable given he was playing out of position. Settled as the game went on and did what was needed without too much fuss.
Ayden Heaven – 8
Another fantastic performance from the youngster. Easily the standout in the backline, he defended his area well and looked composed throughout. Very encouraging.
Luke Shaw – 6
Not the marauding presence he once was, but did his job defensively and kept things tidy.
Some immediate reaction to the win over Chelsea. A vital three points. viewfromkstand.blogspot.com/2026/04/unit...

Midfield
Casemiro – 6.5
A fairly straightforward afternoon. Broke things up when needed and kept his passing simple.
Kobbie Mainoo – 7
Calm and assured in possession. Kept the tempo ticking over nicely and showed maturity beyond his years. More of the same is needed.
Bruno Fernandes – 8
The skipper delivers again with another assist. One of the few who looked capable of making something happen in the final third.
The forwards
Matheus Cunha – 7
Took his goal well and that proved decisive. Seems to shine in front of goal during the big occasions which can't be a bad thing.
Bryan Mbeumo – 6
Some might disagree but think he did ok. It was never going to be a game where the attacking players got a lot of the ball.
Benjamin Sesko – 6
Was quiet at times but did his part in dragging defenders away for the goal. We can't wait to see him next season once he's bit more settled into the team and the club as a whole.
