Tony: Carrick has instilled in the squad a level of expectation that has translated into consistent performances and is so refreshing to see. It is a joy to watch us play again.

Josh: I think every single United fan would have taken a comfortable third place at the start of the season. It's amazing that it's a former player in Michael Carrick that has taken us to this position.

Phil: Really nice vibe and atmosphere in the away end. Great to see the recognition for Bruno Fernandes that he clearly deserved.

Jeff: Delighted Carrick is staying. Delighted with a comfortable win over Brighton. Good vibes only going into the summer and the new season.

Marcus: What I expected to be a difficult game actually turned out to be probably the easiest game of our season. Great performances all over the pitch meant Brighton never really got started, and we fully deserved the win. Nice to see the academy players come on as well.

Liam: I believe it is a good start and an audition for next season. Brighton are a very good side, and we put in a very efficient performance. However, next season will be very different because of the number of games the team will be involved in. But this is certainly a fantastic way to sign off for the season and build momentum going into next season, picking up where they left off.

Nathan: Thought we’d struggle against Brighton. Especially as they had something to play for and we didn’t. However, that was an almost perfect away performance from the players. 

Ajay: A fantastic performance and a brilliant way to end the season. Onwards and upwards now.

Pete: In the past, we would have struggled here, but this was an easy victory. I thought this display was very encouraging. Mount did well breaking up play and linking with Mainoo. I was very impressed with Dorgu, there is so much potential there. The defence was solid. This side is not too far away. A couple of decent signings and the integration of some youth should be enough to see us through the additional games next season. Carrick has worked miracles!
