United Discussion | Players we could sign from relegated clubs
There might be bargains to be had this summer...
We asked a number of reds about the players we should be signing from either Wolves, Burnley or West Ham

Dan M: Mateus Fernandes from West Ham is an obvious choice, and the same goes for Joao Gomes at Wolves, especially with United needing a major midfield rebuild this summer. However, Malick Diouf should be high on the club's shortlist. Many supporters feel a new left-back is needed, so bringing in a talented young player with a strong injury record and a season of Premier League experience already under his belt could prove to be smart business.
Liam C: It's got to be Jarrod Bowen. Bring him in so Bryan Mbeumo can get a breather after those Champions League nights!
Josh T: Fernandes and Bowen from West Ham. I'm not sure if the other players from the other sides are good enough.
Olivia T: Fernandes from West Ham would probably be my first choice. Mateus Mane at Wolves could also be an interesting option in an attacking midfield role. Joao Gomes is another player worth considering, depending on how the search for central midfielders develops. As for Burnley, I don't see anyone there who would improve United.
Andy: I'd take both Bowen and Fernandes from West Ham. United need greater depth and both players would be pushing for places in the starting XI while strengthening the squad overall.
Joseph: United could do a lot worse than looking at Sam Johnstone from Wolves as a new number two goalkeeper. The club will surely consider moving on both Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir, while Radek Vitek would benefit more from regular football on another loan spell. Johnstone has Premier League experience and knows the club from his academy days, much like Tom Heaton. He would also bring leadership and provide valuable support to Senne Lammens.
Anthony: Crysencio Summerville from West Ham would be a useful addition on the left wing. Fernandes could also help solve some of United's midfield issues, although the squad could do with a bit more experience to aid Kobbie Mainoo's development. Joao Gomes might be the ideal fit in that regard.
