United Review | Fulham away 26/27 season
Fulham 1 - 1 United
Matheus Cunha scored late on to earn us a 1-1 draw at Fulham in the Premier League.

A helter-skelter first half produced no goals, with the breakthrough arriving in a much less frenetic second period. Lisandro Martínez turned the ball into his own net in the 63rd minute, leaving the Reds heading into a three-week break facing a painful defeat.
However, Cunha's speculative drive in the 89th minute took a deflection off David Affengruber and found the net to level the scores, finally beating an inspired Bernd Leno in the Fulham goal.
Improvements in midfield?
There are encouraging signs that the partnership between Kobbie Mainoo and Youri Tielemans is developing quickly, with the England midfielder continuing to impress. Mainoo was often the main man in the heart of the United midfield, taking the ball under pressure, keeping possession and showing composure when others might have panicked. Tielemans also saw plenty of the ball and helped drive United forward. There is clearly plenty more to come from the pair.
A much-needed break for everyone...
The international break at least gives everyone some time to regroup and reflect on a five-point return from the opening games of the new season. United now face a near three-week wait before Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently bottom of the Premier League, arrive at Old Trafford.
That break should also give Michael Carrick and his medical staff time to assess Benjamin Šeško, who felt some pain after the Carabao Cup defeat by Brighton. Hopefully, Amad will also be a little closer to making his return when the action resumes on Saturday 10 October.
