Monday Musings | Here we go again

And still, I find it so hard

To say what I need to say

But I'm quite sure that you'll tell me, just how I should feel today. I see a ship in the harbor, I can and shall obey, but if it wasn't for your misfortune, I'd be a heavenly person today...

Nice to witness the passion in the Stretford End

I decided to swap tickets yesterday and sit in the Stretford End and I got to witness up close, Michael Carrick's last moments as a Manchester United manager.

The first few minutes of the match saw a great rendition of the Carrick song and the start of the anti Glazer songs. What followed that was an hour that summed up the incompetence of almost every level of the club.

Once the third goal went in, Old Trafford got angry. Chants aimed at Wilcox, the owners and more support towards the manager. Chants telling the club where to stick their new stadium. It was almost heartwarming.

I was stood just above the Standards banner

At full-time, our support (which I've often been critical of) stuck with the manager before turning on the players. The only one of those morons that deserved any credit yesterday was Diogo Dalot. He isn't a good enough but he was the only one who displayed any effort.
