United Review | Leeds away | 26/27 season
Leeds 1 - 1 United
Hard to know what to think after this one

Bryan Mbeumo found the net for the second weekend in a row, but we had to settle for a point.
Carrick’s side produced an occasionally gutsy performance to extend our unbeaten run at Elland Road to eight matches. However, a second-half equaliser denied us a winning return from our trip to West Yorkshire. Quality was clearly still lacking at times but at least we looked more solid defensively.
A closer analysis of what happened
Mbeumo made amends for an earlier missed header by opening the scoring in the 35th minute. The forward reacted quickest to Youri Tielemans’s cross, finishing from six yards out to claim his second goal in as many Premier League appearances.
Leeds hit back six minutes into the second half, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin finding the net from a corner in a crowded penalty area.
United, superbly marshalled by Harry Maguire throughout the afternoon, pushed for a winner. Bruno Fernandes came close in the second half, but his effort drifted narrowly wide as we were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.
