United Preview | Nottingham Forest away
Nottingham Forest v United preview
Can we make it four wins in a row?
Author | Olivia T
We aim to start November positively when we face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The City Ground encounter presents an opportunity to secure our fourth consecutive win and maintain the momentum that has been gathering pace under head coach Ruben Amorim.
Carrying on the positive run of form
We made it three wins from three in October, extending the run to four victories in our last five matches. That form has lifted Ruben’s side into sixth place, level on points with Manchester City. Since matchday three, only league leaders Arsenal have picked up more points than United.
Team news
Harry Maguire sat out the 4-2 win over Brighton, while Mason Mount, who had also been a doubt, stayed on the bench throughout.
Leny Yoro and Benjamin Sesko stepped into the side and both put in solid shifts, while Lisandro Martinez remains on his own tailored recovery plan as he edges closer to full fitness.
Ahead of Saturday’s trip to Forest, let's throwback to 1999 when we went to the City Ground and scored 8 (eight). #Throwback #Ole viewfromkstand.blogspot.com/2025/10/icon...

Something to think about
Forest have won their last three league meetings with United, although we did get the better of them in the 2024 FA Cup, a run that ended with the Reds lifting the trophy at Wembley.
Academy graduate Anthony Elanga netted the winner for Forest in this fixture last season, but he has since moved on to Newcastle United.
A look at the opposition
Forest sit 18th in the table with just one league win all season, that coming on the opening day against Brentford. New manager Sean Dyche did guide them to a 2-0 victory over Porto in the Europa League, but his first domestic outing ended in defeat at Bournemouth last weekend.
That result made it four straight losses in the Premier League, rounding off a difficult and unsettled start for a side that showed so much promise throughout last season.
They will be missing Ola Aina and Dilane Bakwa, with Arsenal loanee Oleksandr Zinchenko and Chris Wood pushing to make their comebacks.
As for Dyche, he rang the changes at half-time during their 2-0 loss to Bournemouth, hauling off Douglas Luiz, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Igor Jesus after a poor first half.
