Casemiro
The Brazil captain was able to bow out on his own terms following an outstanding campaign. He recorded the best goalscoring return of his career and further strengthened his status as a cult hero among the United support. Josh T simply said: "We're gonna miss him."
Kobbie Mainoo
Having been close to leaving, Mainoo has flourished since Amorim's arrival, winning back his place in the starting XI and securing a new long-term deal. He is a special talent and looks determined to make up for lost time. We're all very excited to see how he develops over the next few seasons. He could be our starting midfielder for the next decade.
Bruno Fernandes
Fernandes was arguably the standout player in the Premier League this season and has rightly received recognition for his performances. United are fortunate to have a player of his quality. He also matched the Premier League assist record, capping a superb individual season. Going forward, he desperately needs to lead us to more trophies. Nobody deserves it more. Liam C said: "This is the Bryan Robson for the post Fergie generation of United fans."
Matheus Cunha
As debut seasons go, Cunha's first year at United has been hugely encouraging. Ten league goals after a slow start highlight how well he has adapted to life at Old Trafford. There is every reason to believe he can reach even greater heights next season. A fan posted on RedCafe: "He has has the potential to be a cult hero at the club for many years.
